What We’re All About2018-10-15T11:53:34+00:00

We think that PLM should be easy. We think that connecting teams within organizations is important, and that people should be allowed to use the tools that they like to do their job. We think that for too long, PLM has been too slow to implement and too expensive to buy for small and medium-sized companies, and that makes building real things harder than ever.

We think that technology should work for people, not for resellers or software companies or multi-national corporations.

So we built Upchain. It’s the world’s easiest to use PLM, which extends functionality far beyond the engineering and design teams.

Our vision is a completely connected value chain from the first nut to the final bolt, where collaboration is the default setting, and where mission-critical data is simultaneously accessible and secure. We think process doesn’t have to be as hard as it is, and we intend to make it a whole lot easier for everyone. We hope you’ll join us.

Our values

Simplicity

PLM should be simple. We don’t believe in online modules or week-long training sessions. Our goal is to make your PLM feel like the rest of your digital experiences – fast, intuitive, and easy.

Customer-centricity

We put the customer at the heart of everything we do. We think the best form of success is when our customers are happy. That’s why we always go the extra mile to ensure they’re getting what they need. If the people we serve are winning, then so are we.

Collaboration

We believe the best results come from people collaborating — and we don’t think collaboration should need 150 emails and 47 attachments. It should be easy. So we made it easy, all the way through the value chain.

Affordability

PLM isn’t just for the enterprises of the world. We think PLM is for everyone. So we made a PLM that anyone can afford. It’s PLM for the people.
